With the on going coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), the thieves and scammers are coming out to play. As we all know, the holiday season is coming up very soon. Mail fraud is a big problem, especially during this time of the year. From identity theft to financial schemes, scammers are finding new ways to steal your personal information by using sneaky, deceptive tactics. It's time Stay alert and safe. It's getting crazy out there! Quick Fact: In Michigan, mail fraud is a state and federal crime. A person can end up paying expensive fines (From $500 to $2,000). In extreme cases, mail fraud can land a person in prison (For up to 10 years). Yikes!

Package theft is also a huge issue. Thousands of packages disappear from doorsteps and mailboxes everyday in the US. Plus, With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up next week, thief activity will be extremely high.. As a precaution, always keep a watchful eye on your packages. Make sure you get tracking numbers for them and sign up for mobile updates. Over the past year, I have lost several items due to package theft. I completely understand how it feels. 2. I believe that in countries with a large population of people, the package theft is a serious problem. I come from a small country, and in principle we do not have this problem.
